Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Provides functional support to the Quality Assurance Team by maintaining the documentation control system and processes by performing the following duties:


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

-Confirm that all submitted documentation is accurate, legible and complete.

-Maintain electronic documentation control system which includes a quality check of the documents submitted and scanning the documents into the DocuShare System. Correcting any malfunctions in processing to ensure a legible, and reproducible digital file is created.

-Maintain revision control and tracking for controlled documents. Review documents and written communication for format, consistency and compliance with existing procedures

-Organize and accurately file all paper documents.

-Monitor and purge archives all paper files. Management of Quality Records including accurate and detailed inventory, accurate labeling and storage of completed quality records. Monitor and maintain scanning equipment, which includes resolution of minor problems and supervisor notification for more complex equipment problems.

-Collection and delivery of inter-office mail for all Carson City buildings.

-Other Quality Assurance functions such as preparation of Certificates of Conformance, Chemical and Physical Test Reports, First Article Documentation and Final Documentation review may be assigned.

-Provide general administrative assistance to the Quality Assurance Department as needed.

-Other duties as may be assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT


-Work primarily performed in a standard office environment. If in manufacturing areas, may be exposed to
noise, smells, heat, dust, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

-Excellent attention to detail.

-Excellent attendance and punctuality.

-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

-Proficient in basic math; ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, etc.

-Proficient in English; ability to read, comprehend and execute written and oral instructions.

-Able to work in team environment.


Additional requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or Experience

-High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

-Some relevant college courses or training.

-Minimimum 1 year experience in related industry.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS


-Walking, sitting, bending and twisting for up to 8 hours per day.
-Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
