Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst within the Management Information Systems (MIS) team fully supports the efforts of the Click Bond leadership team, while supporting the MIS team and driving the strategic design, implementation and maintenance of our business intelligence applications. This role will support the identification, research, troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues. This role will align closely with and support the IT department and the company’s technical solutions. The role will also drive the company’s business intelligence applications to evolve and enhance our business decision making capabilities. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:  

  • Lead systems release management programs.
  • Design and administration of business intelligence tools and solutions. 
  • Support company MRP and CRM system solutions.
  • Design and develop end-user training and training materials.
  • Create and modify MRP and Accounting reports and dashboards. 
  • Analyze and diagnose issues within Click Bond systems and execute more complex issues within Click Bond systems.
  • Maintain the integrity and security within our systems.
  • Assist in designing and implementing various data & document systems while helping drive business best practices.
  • Mentor and coach MIS team as appropriate.
  • Other duties as may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities
     

Skills / Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Strong analytical  skills with particular attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to present business solution to executive teams.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Visio), Crystal Reports, or accounting and MRP software.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and research technical issues and mitigate solutions.
  • Proficient in standard programming paradigms and scripting.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, relational database and MRP systems.
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing techniques.
  • Ability to collect business requirements and develop effective reports and dashboards.
  • Solid experience developing solutions using C#, ASP, html, JavaScript, QlikView, SQL Server, SSRS.

Additional requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Graduate degree preferred
  • 7+ years experience in related field
  • Microsoft MCSA or equivalent certification in SQL Server
  • Experience building dashboards
  • Proven experience successfully mentoring within a team environment.  

LANGUAGE SKILLS: 

  • Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: 

  • None - except if in manufacturing areas may need protective eyewear or ear plugs.  

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Work primarily performed in a standard office environment. If in manufacturing areas, may be exposed to noise, smells, heat, dust, etc.
