Job Status: Full Time
To retrieve stock to fulfill work orders, fulfill customer orders, receive product, and maintain computer records of all activities. To assist in monitoring of goods to ensure accurate inventory levels.
Verifies count on receipts of incoming goods. Contacts assigned Planner if necessary to adjust a receipt. Records receipt on computer. Places materials in designated storage location of warehouse. Records location of goods on computer.
Receives work orders from Planners. Retrieve requested items from warehouse and verifies count. Contacts assigned Planner, if necessary, to adjust an order. Record issue on computer. Delivers materials to the next work center.
Performs routine Shipper Sheet reports as scheduled. Print customer order, and retrieve product from warehouse to fulfill line item. Fill the appropriate information on the form. Transfer goods to appropriate work station. Records actions on computer.
Helps employees from the shop floor for shortages. Investigate why the shortage occurs. Retrieve shortage goods form warehouse, and record on computer.
Performs daily Cycle Counts to insure accurate inventory.
Maintains stockroom in a clean and orderly manner.
Transports goods to and from multiple locations.
Conducts physical inventory audits of stock locations not included in the cycle count program as scheduled.
Performs other duties and assignments as directed by immediate supervisor and management.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED).
Six month’s experience in cycle counting and inventory.
General knowledge of inventory, cycle count systems.
Ability to read, write and understand the English language.
Sufficient computer and keyboarding skills.
Good communication skills.
